bar & restaurant

Located in the heart of Manchester, Motley is a melting pot for locals and explorers alike, where saints and sinners share stories over seasonal local dishes, moody interiors and creative cocktails. Check out our menus and events below and choose your side⊠saint or sinner?

whatâs on
saints & sinners
Motley turns away from the obvious. This is not a tribute to mills and Madchester. Itâs a nod to four local disruptors who walked the line between sinner and saint.
Alan Turing cracked codes and won wars, then paid the price for living honestly. Emmeline Pankhurst broke every rule to rewrite the future. John Dalton saw the unseen and left his eyes behind for proof. Reverend Cowherd preached purity from the pulpit, then lit his pipe in a leather chair.
Their lives shape the space, the menu, the mood.
Pull up a seat and see where it takes you.
